Most of my paintings are about spaciousness. They represent a world to wander, amaze and find your place. I hope the viewer will find memories of a homeland in this semi-abstract landscape. That one place that triggers your own very special memories.
I love to abstract landscapes in which your eyes can wander and use it's imagination. But while abstracting I always try to add recognizable elements. This landscape should intrigue, but still make you feel comfortable.
In this mixed media painting I added a lot of acrylic layers, glued collage and used pencil. The painting is protected by a layer of varnish.
